Frequently asked questions

What is Silly Goose Learning?

An early literacy program for children ages 2-5 years old, built around music and movement, yoga, art, games, and themed childhood activities. Silly goose is a dynamic early literacy program that focuses on letter sounds and letter recognition, sight words, and early readers. The Alphabet is based off fruits and vegetables, which promotes healthy eating and health awareness. The games are old childhood games build around phonics to help the child exercise their fine and gross motor skills, hand and eye coordination, and develop their language skills through play.

What happens during a session?

During the 30-minute session, children will play fun games center around upper and lower case letters, depending on the development of the children, some classes with a focus on sounds, sight words, or sentences. All children are different and learn at different paces so classes vary on which activities we start first. All activities are center around music, books, and fun movement games to keep the children active and exciting about learning. Through creative play, the children will have the skills they need to obtain to become early life-long readers.

Silly Goose Goal

Our goal is to cater to each individual child needs by creating a fun, active, and encouraging an environment that is nurturing to childhood development. The program is designed to offer children the opportunity to explore letters and language through creative play and games by giving them the confidence they need to become life-long readers.
